Mifuko is swahili and means pocket

Mifuko Oy is a Finnish design company, which co-operates with several small artisan workshops in Kenya. Mifukos products include jewellery, sandals and bags. Many of our sub-contractors have Fair Trade certification. Our aim is to employ talented artisans and provide them with regular income. In Mifuko products African traditional handcraft skills and techniques are combined with Scandinavian design. Mifuko also utilizes local recycled material in it’s production. Mifuko products are work of hands and hearts.
