Phoeth, a member of Ngunduni women’s Group, keeps livestock; chicken, cows, goats and sheep. For her earnings she has bought more goats for her flock and in the future, she wants to buy another dairy cow. She has been weaving basket for Mifuko since 2013. In a week Phoeth Sammy, as how her friends address her, can weave one medium basket and for that she earns two thousand Kenyan Shillings a month. She learned the handcraft for her mother. Phoeth is delighted to do something else than farming, thus she looks forward to more orders. Job and family are the most important thing in life to Phoeth.
